| L-3 Electrodynamics Completes F-35 Recorder Qualification Testing |
| Rolling Meadows – April 28, 2009 —L-3 Communications Electrodynamics (EDI) announced that it has completed qualification testing for its Crash Survivable Memory Unit (CSMU) for the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft. With this qualification milestone completed, EDI immediately moves into Low Rate Initial Production of the units, with deliveries scheduled to begin in January 2009. |

| L-3 Electrodynamics SRVIVR® Selected for Euro Hawk UAV |
| Rolling Meadows – June 1, 2009 —L-3 Communications Electrodynamics (EDI) announced today that it has supplied its SRVIVR Cockpit Voice Flight Data Recorder (CVFDR) to Northrop Grumman for integration on its RQ-4B Euro Hawk variant of the RQ-4 Global Hawk UAV. The Euro Hawk will serve as part of the German Air Force's high altitude long endurance (HALE) surveillance and reconnaissance system. |

Memory Unit (CSMU) for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Electrodynamics
has partnered with another L-3 business unit, Aydin Yazilim
ve Elektronik Sanayi, a high technology software and electronics
company based in Ankara, Turkey, on this important international
program. |

| PML 90 solid state non-volatile memory
LED Indicators provide a reliable and repeatable method of
displaying a fault or status signal, even when the power is
interrupted. The solid state memory reactivates the LED display
when the power is returned. This feature is useful when equipment
is removed from service for maintenance. The fault display
is retained when the power is restored at the service area.
The standard lens is non-diffused with diffused type optional.
